Democratic leaders in the U.S. House discuss confiscating
401(k)s, IRAs
By Karen McMahan
RALEIGH — Democrats in the U.S. House have been conducting hearings on proposals to confiscate
workers’ personal retirement accounts — including 401(k)s and IRAs — and convert them to accounts managed by the Social Security Administration.
Triggered
by the financial crisis the past two months, the hearings reportedly were meant to stem losses incurred by many workers and retirees
whose 401(k) and IRA balances have been shrinking rapidly.
The testimony of Teresa Ghilarducci, professor of economic policy analysis
at the New School for Social Research in New York, in hearings Oct. 7 drew the most attention and criticism. Testifying for the House
Committee on Education and Labor, Ghilarducci proposed that the government eliminate tax breaks for 401(k) and similar retirement
accounts, such as IRAs, and confiscate workers’ retirement plan accounts and convert them to universal Guaranteed Retirement Accounts
(GRAs) managed by the Social Security Administration.

Cloward-Piven Government
By James Simpson
It is time to cast aside all remaining doubt. President Obama is not trying to
lead America forward to recovery, prosperity and strength. Quite the opposite, in fact.
In September of last year, American Thinker
published my article, Barack Obama and the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis. Part of a series, it connected then-presidential candidate
Barack Obama to individuals and organizations practicing a malevolent strategy for destroying our economy and our system of government.
Since then, the story of that strategy has found its way across the blogosphere, onto the airwaves of radio stations across the country,
the Glenn Beck television show, Bill O'Reilly, and now Mark Levin.
The methodology is known as the Cloward-Piven Strategy, and
we can all be grateful to David Horowitz and his 'Discover the Networks' for originally exposing and explaining it to us. He describes
it as:
The strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the
fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis
and economic collapse.
Response to Obama's State of the Union Address 2010
Dear Colleague:
If you're like me, you were astounded by the State of
the Union. Of course, it was predictable, but it is now more obvious than ever that the President of the United States doesn't
have the foggiest idea as to how to set this country on the path towards prosperity and security. He not only fails to grasp
the underlying issues that brought us into this recession, he is apparently blind to the actions on his part that have made this recession
far worse.
The state of the union is as follows: our unemployment is at its highest in decades. Unemployment is at its
highest because America's small businesses aren't hiring the nation's working families. America's small businesses aren't hiring,
not because the government hasn't spent enough, and not just because government continues to saddle them with onerous regulatory and
paperwork burdens, but because these small businesses see through the President's agenda and what it means for them. Why would
any small business assume the expense of hiring more people if the President's agenda is going to drive up their health care costs,
drive up their energy costs, and ultimately drive up the costs for manpower and materials?
"I'm 63 and Im Tired"
by Robert A. Hall
I'm 63. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period when
I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I've worked, hard, since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour
weeks, and haven't called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn't inherit my job or my income, and I worked
to get where I am. Given the economy, there's no retirement in sight, and I'm tired. Very tired.
I'm tired of being told that I have
to "spread the wealth" to people who don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government will take the money I earned,
by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.
I'm tired of being told that I have to pay more taxes to "keep people
in their homes." Sure, if they lost their jobs or got sick, I'm willing to help. But if they bought McMansions at three times the
price of our paid-off, $250,000 condo, on one-third of my salary, then let the left-wing Congress-critters who passed Fannie and Freddie
and the Community Reinvestment Act that created the bubble help them with their own money.
Understanding the Democrats' Scheme
By John F. Gaski
Poor Bill O'Reilly and Brit Hume. There they were on the O'Reilly show a
few weeks ago, puzzling over why Barack Obama and the Democrats are doing so many things that are damaging to our country. Bill and
Brit agreed that they couldn't possibly be harming the nation intentionally, because negative voter reaction would redound to them
politically and electorally. Can't the Democrats see this? Did they suddenly get stupid politically? This is so unlike them. How to
explain this anomaly?
Poor Bill and Brit, and many others, indeed. It is time to think the unthinkable and speak the ineffable.
Apart from the troubling question of intent, or whether Obama-Pelosi-Reid just have a novel view of the public interest, the national
Democrats are unnaturally and mysteriously sanguine despite growing backlash by the American people. Why? One reason: The Dems
don't believe they will ever have to face a real election again. Is their plan not becoming obvious? It is very straightforward:
(1)
Grant amnesty to the illegal aliens (the correct term for lawbreaking invaders, regardless of their natural and rational motives)
which will create up to 30 million reliably Democrat voters -- especially after being registered at least once each by ACORN. That
is cushion enough to carry any national election. Why else could Dems be so fixated on this agenda item?
Muslim world missing from Haitian aid
Thank goodness President Barack Obama told
the world last June that the United States could be seen as “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.” If it weren’t for
that declaration there wouldn’t be one Muslim country helping out in Haiti.
So Iran has its version of the Red Cross sending
humanitarian aid to Haiti. But what Islamic country’s government has rushed to the aid of the suffering in Haiti?
It wouldn’t
be such a big deal had we not had to hear President Obama traveling around the world for eleven months apologizing for our shortcomings
and even denying we are a Christian nation. And it wouldn’t be so bad if we didn’t have to hear about the virtues of Islam every time
a jihadist incinerates scores of (fill in the blank).
But so far the list of countries sending aid to Haiti, and I’m talking
governments not relief agencies, is devoid of an Islamic country.
Iceland is sending aid. So is Togo.

Speaker Pelosi spends your hard-earned tax dollars on expensive booze
Respectfully
demand that your representative stop these abuses of taxpayer dollars
February 1, 2010
According to WorldNetDaily
(WND), Judicial Watch has obtained documents under the Freedom of Information Act which reveal that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has
spent over $2.1 million on air travel over the last two years, treating the Air Force jets on which she flies as if they were her
own personal air taxi service.
She often reserves the jets, then cancels them at the last minute despite the considerable cost
involved in pre-flight preparations.
Richard Reid, The Shoe Bomber Verdict
Remember the guy who got on a plane with a bomb built into his shoe and tried to light it? Did
you know his trial is over? Did you know he was sentenced? Did you see/hear any of the judge's comments on TV or Radio?
Didn't think so.!!! Everyone should hear what the judge had to say.
Ruling
by Judge William Young, US District Court
Prior to sentencing,
the Judge asked the defendant if he had anything to say. His response: After admitting his guilt to the court for
the record, Reid also admitted his 'allegiance to Osama bin Laden, to Islam, and to the religion of Allah,' defiantly stating,
'I think I will not apologize for my actions,' and told the court 'I am at war with your country.'
Judge Young then delivered the statement quoted below:
January 30,
2003, United States vs. Reid.
Judge Young: 'Mr. Richard C. Reid, hearken now
to the sentence the Court imposes upon you.
AARP: Reform advocate and insurance salesman
Seniors group makes millions from royalties on health plans
By Dan Eggen
Washington Post
Staff Writer
Tuesday, October 27, 2009
The nation's preeminent seniors group, AARP, has put the weight of its 40 million members behind
health-care reform, saying many of the proposals will lower costs and increase the quality of care for older Americans.
But not advertised
in this lobbying campaign have been the group's substantial earnings from insurance royalties and the potential benefits that could
come its way from many of the reform proposals.
The group and its subsidiaries collected more than $650 million in royalties and other
fees last year from the sale of insurance policies, credit cards and other products that carry the AARP name, accounting for the majority
of its $1.14 billion in revenue, according to federal tax records. It does not directly sell insurance policies but lends its name
to plans in exchange for a tax-exempt cut of the premiums.
To Obama
by Patrick J. Buchanan
Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America.. Fair enough. But this
time, it has to be a two-way conversation. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to.. This time, the Silent Majority
needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are:
These: First, America has been the best country on
earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million,
were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known. Wright ought
to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.
Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white
Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the ' 60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants,
student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community
into the mainstream.
Jason Whitlock, race-baiting the Super Bowl
Peter Heck - Guest Columnist AFA - 3/1/2010 8:45:00 AM
The old adage says
that religion and politics don't mix. Someone needs to tell FOX Sports writer Jason Whitlock that sports and politics don't
either. In his February 17 column dedicated to ranking the top ten quarterbacks of all-time, Whitlock made one of the most ridiculous,
outrageous, and boneheaded statements any sports reporter has made in a very long time.
Whitlock was describing the game-clinching
play of Super Bowl XLIV when Saints defensive back Tracy Porter jumped a route being run by Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne, intercepted
quarterback Peyton Manning's pass, and galloped down the field for a touchdown, securing the Saints win. For Indiana folks like
me, it was heartbreaking. For the folks of New Orleans...ecstasy.
But Whitlock managed to drive a political wedge into what should
have otherwise been left as a thrilling moment of sports history by writing, "A black defensive back outsmarted a beloved white quarterback.
I know. That's a truth many of you can't handle. It makes you uncomfortable."

Child Marriage still an issue in Saudi Arabia
"The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with 'Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she
was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death)." -- Bukhari 7.62.88
This is Muhammad's example.
It will be essentially impossible to keep Muslim men from emulating his example as long as he is held up as the supreme model for
conduct (cf. Qur'an 33:21).
Sharia Alert from the Kingdom of the Two Holy Places: "Child marriage still an issue in Saudi Arabia,"
by Joel Brinkley for the San Francisco Chronicle, March 13:
Saudi Arabia has a serious child-marriage problem.
It's emblematic
of the nation's struggle between modernity and traditional Islam. But the lives of thousands of little girls are being destroyed as
the Saudi government ponderously debates a solution.
